Getting started
Is BidAll free to use?
Registering as a bidder is completely free. Auctioneers get a free storefront too; paid plans add a shareable catalogue and full online bidding.
Do I need an account to browse?
No — you can browse auctioneers and auctions freely. You register (free) to see contact details, follow auctioneers and place bids.
How do I create an account?
Click Register, enter your name, email and a password, and accept the terms. That is it — you are ready to follow auctioneers and bid.
Bidding & buying
How do I bid at an auction?
Register as a bidder, complete any auction-specific requirements (such as FICA or a deposit), then place your bid on the lot. See our guide on how to buy at auction for the full process.
What is a buyer's premium?
A percentage the auctioneer adds to your winning bid, usually 6–15% plus VAT. Always check the auction terms so you know the all-in cost before bidding.
Is a winning bid binding?
Yes. A winning bid is a binding contract to buy, and auction purchases do not carry the usual cooling-off rights — so only bid up to what you are willing to pay.

How do I list my auction house?
Claim or register your free storefront, add your specialties and region, and you will appear in the national directory and on the map. You can add a catalogue and online bidding when you are ready.
What does it cost to sell on BidAll?
A storefront is free to start. Paid plans add a catalogue and online auctions — see the pricing page for current tiers.
Can I run fully online auctions?
Yes. You can publish a marketing catalogue, run live or timed online bidding, or run a hybrid auction with a live floor and online bidders together.
Payments & safety
How do payments work?
You pay the auctioneer per the method published in the auction terms — usually EFT or a secure online gateway. Never pay through a channel sent to you privately by a stranger.
Are online auctions safe?
Reputable auctions use registered bidders (FICA), secure payments and clear terms. Buy from established auctioneers, read the terms, and inspect or ask questions before bidding.
